When undertaking a project, whether it involves photography, videography, or a combination of both, I prefer to begin by engaging in detailed discussions with the client. This initial conversation allows me to gain a comprehensive understanding of their vision, enabling me to establish a solid foundation for planning the project. As a result, I can effectively visualize the desired outcome and create a suitable roadmap.

Storyboarding plays a crucial role in the planning process. By translating the client's vision into a visual format, I can outline key shots, sequences, and transitions. This collaborative approach ensures that both the client and I are satisfied with the projected end result. Through regular feedback and iteration, we can refine the creative direction until we achieve a shared vision.

Before the project commences, I organize a run-through call to ensure all logistical and creative aspects are in order. This step allows me to verify that everything is set up effectively, both in terms of practical arrangements and artistic considerations. By addressing any potential issues or adjustments during this call, I can enhance the smooth execution of the shoot. This proactive approach guarantees that the project runs seamlessly, minimizing disruptions on the day of the shoot.
